Nordic Africa Business Forum

ESENGO is a proud co-organizer of the Nordic Africa Business Forum, an annual event connecting African and Nordic entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, creatives and decision-makers.

The forum was created to change the way Africa is seen and discussed in the Nordic countries; from a continent too often associated only with charity and challenges to one rich in talent, innovation, creativity and business opportunities. Through meaningful conversations, new partnerships, fashion and entrepreneurship, we aim to create sustainable growth and genuine benefits for both African and Nordic communities.

The event began with a conversation between ESENGO and founder and CEO Fadumo Ali. We were fortunate to have the Epicenter team join us and help bring our shared vision to life.

The first Nordic Africa Business Forum was a great success. Our inspiring keynote speakers included Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Elina Valtonen, and Sonja Sirviö, founder of EcoCan, a recycling company operating in Kenya.

ESENGO also curated an electrifying fashion show celebrating African entrepreneurs and showcasing their creativity and innovative talent through fashion. For ESENGO, fashion is more than style- it is business, culture and a powerful way to connect continents.

Following the incredible response to the first event, the Nordic Africa Business Forum will continue as an annual gathering.
